Sail and cycle your way round the Greek islands.
Itinerary
Welcome to Athens!
Our private support van will take us to Vouliagmeni, where we will get our bikes ready and attend a short briefing.
We will then set off south along the coast to Sounio, where we will load our bikes onto our private catamaran and set sail for the island of Lea and a typical lunch.
(48 km and 380 m difference in altitude)
Today we will sail to Andros, one of the most beautiful islands in the Cyclades. We will visit the centre of Hora, exploring its narrow streets with their traditional Venetian-style houses on our bikes.
After our ride, we’ll have time to relax and go for a swim in the crystal clear waters.
(74 km and 1200 m difference in altitude)
As soon as it is light, we will set sail for Tinos with breakfast on board.
There, we will visit the romantic village of Agapi, whose name in Greek means, unsurprisingly, “love”.
We will cycle along the slopes of Mount Profitis llias, where we will go through the village of Pyrgos with its traditional white houses surrounded by vineyards where they produce the famous Assyrtiko white wine.
(55 km and 1200 m difference in altitude)
Our destination this morning is Mykonos, one of the best-known islands in Greece, whose whitewashed buildings will provide a beautiful backdrop for our ride. Early in the afternoon we’ll set sail for the island of Rhenia, a hidden gem just off the coast of Mykonos, where we will lower anchor and enjoy dinner on the deck.
(55 km and 900 m difference in altitude)
Today there’s no cycling, just relaxing!
You decide what you want to do: explore the hidden coves and swim in the crystal clear waters, go snorkelling, meditate or lend a hand in the kitchen with the skippers. In the afternoon we’ll depart for the island of Syros.
Syros is perfect if you want to get off the tourist track and experience the real Greece: it’s pure chaos in the centre, lovely and quiet on the beaches, neoclassical, a working-class and seafaring town. We’ll ride round the whole island in just 35 km. In the afternoon we’re off to Kythnos, the last stop on our island-hopping holiday.
(35 km and 630 m difference in altitude)
After an excursion on the island of Kythnos and a final swim, we’ll head back to Athens for a typical dinner at the port.
After a good breakfast, it’s time for goodbyes before we set off for home. Our private van will take you to the airport.
